The WestCoast ‘Big One’, USA

This ground breaking event held annually for the past
16 years in the small coastal town of Westport, Washington State, is the brainchild of, and coordinated by Steve and Nanette Backus. I have been fortunate to have carved at the 'Big One' the past 3 years. It is a highly competitive environment and is a rae opportunity to carve along side some of the worlds best practitioners of this artform. In 2003 I placed 9th in the 'Semi Pro' division … and in 2005 I placed 9th again but this time in the 'Professional'
division.
