Ocean Shores Annual 'Sand and Sawdust' Competition

The sawdust portion of this hugely popular event is coordinated by the fabulous Boaz Backus with loads of support of the local community. It is a huge amount of fun with accommodation supplied to participating carvers. I have attended the 'Sand to Sawdust' for 3 years (2002 - 2004) with the intention to return in the 2006 season.
